APPOINTMENT NOTICE – ANDY CARSON TO ASSOCIATION CHAIR

The Canadian Fuels Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Carson, Director, Energy Transition, at Irving Oil, as chair of the association’s Board of Directors.

In his role at Irving Oil, Andy focuses on long-term strategy development and stewardship, supporting the company’s sustainability goals. He works with a growing team to bring Irving Oil’s energy transition strategy to life, linking together the ongoing decarbonization of the company’s operations with the creation of new value for all stakeholders.

He joined Irving Oil in 2008 and has previously held roles in legal affairs, public policy, corporate communications, and business development. 

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University before studying law at Dalhousie University. He has an Executive MBA from a joint program between Northwestern University and York University. 

Andy was born and raised in Saint John, NB, and currently lives in Rothesay, NB, with his family.
