Omnibus Survey’s Executive Summary – September 2025
We conduct regular national omnibus surveys to better understand Canadians’ views and perceptions on issues related to the transportation fuels sector. These surveys offer valuable insights into how Canadians see the industry’s role in supporting the economy and strengthening energy security, as well as their awareness of and interest in innovations that improve fuel quality and reduce emissions, including low-carbon technologies and biofuels.
The findings also shed light on Canadians’ levels of support for actions that encourage investment in these technologies and in new biofuel projects. By listening to Canadians, we gain a clearer picture of what they value and where their interests lie, helping us fuel a more informed and engaging national dialogue.
